I then tried to install the 32-bit version of Daz Studio directly (without DIM), but it exhibited the same behavior and would not install. It looks like this Mac Mini of mine is just too old as it is only running OS X version 10.4.11. Today, I downloaded DIM version 1.4.0.80 (32-bit), but after unzipping the file and double-clicking to launch the installer, it would just open-and-close in less than a second and would not install. Currently, I run Daz Studio on a Windows 10 PC, however, I do own an old 2006 Mac Mini that has a 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo processor (32-bit), and you have inspired me to try to install Daz Studio on it.
